Memo Industriplast acquires a majority holding in Vermaplast

10-05-25

Memo Industriplast AB (Memo) is buying Vermaplast AB, the Söderköping-based manufacturer of injection-moulded plastic products and permanent magnets. Memo is taking over all 25 employees, and after the purchase will have a turnover of almost 80 MSEK and a workforce of 50 staff. Memo is thus continuing its strategic journey to become a leader in the field of technically advanced injection-moulded plastic products

The acquisition also allows Memo to widen its range to include the manufacture of permanent magnets and two-component injection moulding.
- We have acquired the majority holding in a flourishing company which will complement our other units with both its know-how and its customer structure, says Hans Jannering, MD for Memo. Vermaplast gives us access to competence within research and development, with the focus on automation and robot applications. Furthermore, our ambition is to become one of the Nordic leaders in the field of permanent magnets, which is one of Vermaplast's core areas of competence, said Hans Jannering in closing.
- The merger of Vermaplast AB and Memo Industriplast AB gives us the opportunity to continue our development which will increase our customer value both in the short and long term, explains Ralf Burkhard, MD for Vermaplast AB.
